The death of Obed E. Denham occurred last Thursday at the home of C. W. Cole, 340 West 14^th Street, at the age of 65 years. Mr. Denham lived in Allegan and came here two weeks ago. Formerly he lived in Iowa. He was a veteran of the Civil War. The funeral services were held Saturday forenoon from the house of Mr. Cole, Rev. A. T. Luther officiating.

(Mr. Denham served in the 25^th Iowa Infantry, Co. F. He is buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.)
