| Elizabeth DenHerder, 85, of Grand Rapids,
Mich., died at 2 a. m. today following a nine-week illness. Survivors include a
son, John DenHerder of Paulding, a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Maxine) Dievendorf of
Grand Rapids; three sisters and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her husband the Rev. M. J. DenHerder who died in 1932. Mrs. DenHerder was
housemother at Hope College in Holland, Mich, until her retirement 20 years ago.
Services will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday at Dykstra Funeral Home in Holland.
Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery there. Friends may call after 3 p. m.
