Gerritt DeWitt, father of Mrs. Henry Veldman, died at her residence at Wyoming township, last Wednesday, at the age of 81 years. The deceased formerly lived on Fifth Avenue.

He was for years a resident of Holland, where he was better known.

Funeral services were held on Saturday last, and interment in the old homestead cemetery near Holland.
