Guy Edson, 86, owner of the Hudsonville Lumber Co., died Wednesday morning at his home, 221 E. Main Street. He was one of the pioneers of Hudsonville. Mr. Edson was a member of the Hudsonville Congregational Church.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Curtis; two sons, Lee and Grant, all of Hudsonville, tne grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; one brother, Glenn of Hudsonville, five sisters, Mrs. Maude Rynbrandt, Mrs. Ruth Steele, Miss Ada Edson, all of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Ida McEachron and Mrs. Laura Kiel, of Hudsonville

Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 p.m. at VanderLaan Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Warke officiating. Burial Georgetown Cemetery.
