George B. Griffin, aged 69 years, died at his home at 187 West 18^th Street. Griffin was a veteran of the Civil War and he was a member of the local G. A. R. Post. He came from New Richmond. Deceased is survived by a widow and five children, Frank of Detroit, John of Holland, Mrs. J. M. Jackson of Moreville, Ind., Mrs. Charles Harris of Holland, and Miss Nellie Griffin at home.

The funeral was held at 10:30 o’clock Friday forenoon from the home. Mr. Griffin was buried with military honors. The Rev. J. W. Eaveld officiated.

(George Griffin served in the 7^th Michigan Cavalry, Co. C. He is buried in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.)
