Frederick Harris Frederick Harris was a veteran of the Civil War. He enlisted from Tallmadge, MI, as private, on August 15, 1862, age 18, and served in Co. B, 5th MI Cavalry. He mustered out on June 10, 1865, at Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Frederick was a prisoner of war during his military service. Frederick is buried in Advent Cemetery in Wright Township, Ottawa County, MI. 　 1880 U. S.
