He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Heald, two sons, Melvin T. of Grand Rapids and P. S. Heald, United States Navy, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; one daughter, Mrs. Fred Younglove of Grand Rapids; three grandchildren; one brother, Bertram Heald, and one sister, Mrs. Frances Mellema.
