Thomas Bertram Heald, aged 74, of 2007 Kenning Dr. NW, passed away Wednesday morning at Pine Rest Sanitarium after a lingering illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Heald; 4 sons, Sherman of Willoughby, Ohio, Laverne, Douglas, and Roy, all of Grand Rapids; 2 daughters, Mrs. Alfred Sirrine of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Lee Snyder of Caledonia; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. Heald reposes at the Alt Mortuary where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Mortuary visiting hours on Thursday will be from 7 to 9 p. m.

Thomas Bertram Heald was the youngest child of Thomas Jefferson Heald, Civil War veteran, and Catherine Green.
