Martha Miller,-married Oscar Robinson after her sister Roxanna died, according to the pension file of Wesley Miller.

Military Records

Cyrus enlisted for Civil War service on November 11, 1861, and served in Co. I, 3^rd MI Infantry. He was discharged for disability on June 24, 1862, at Washington D. C.

Medical records show that Cyrus was treated for diarrhea on January 1-12, 1862, and returned to duty. He was treated for remittent fever on April 19-24, 1862. On May 22 - June 11, 1862, he was treated for plettusis (pertussis-whooping cough) and returned to duty. He was treated June 15- June 24, 1862, nothing additional found. Cyrus was discharged June 24, 1862.

Eliza Robinson testified that she was well acquainted with Phoebe Miller and that they were neighbors for many years. Minerva Taylor testified that she was present when Phoebe Miller died. After Phoebe Miller died on January 29, 1881, Cyrus married Electa C. Palmer on June 25, 1889, in Eastmanville, MI. Electa was born January 31, 1819, and was previously married to William Russell, who had died on January 10, 1884. After the death of Cyrus, on January 22, 1894, Electa applied for Civil War widow’s pension. Elbert Lynn, Supervisor of Tallmadge Township, testified that Electa Miller owned a house and 3 ½ acres worth about $100.00 and her only income was derived from working of said lots on shares.

Electa died October 24, 1904, and is buried in the lot with Cyrus Miller at Maplewood Cemetery,
