ARTICLE AND OBITUARY - HENRY OHLMANN

Hudsonville- Henry Ohlmann, 75, a native of Bremen, Germany, but for 70 years a
resident of this vicinity, died Wednesday at his home here.
After coming to the United States with his parents, Mr. Ohlmann, was a resident
of Blendon Township until 1899, when he moved to Georgetown Township. He
retired from farming three years ago, moving to Hudsonville.
He was married to Miss Dena Gerrits of Hudsonville in 1891.
Surviving are the widow, six sons: John, Carl and Albert of Hudsonville;
Gilbert, Henry and Benjamin of Grand Rapids; one daughter, Mrs. Marian Deters of
Hudsonville, and twenty-one grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the home and at 2 p.m. at
Hudsonville Community Church. Burial will be in Georgetown cemetery.
Obituary:
OHLMAN, Henry, aged 75, passed away Wednesday morning at his home in
Hudsonville. He is survived by his widow, Denah; six sons and one
daughter, John, Carl, Gilbert, Henry, Mrs. Marion Deters, Benjamin and Albert;
twenty-one grandchildren; one brother, Carl, of Hickman, Neb.; one sister, Mrs.
Mathilda Schneider of Alamosa, Calif.
The body reposes at the Wolbrink Funeral Home where services will be held
Saturday, at 1 o'clock and at 2 o'clock at the Community church. Interment
in Georgetown Cemetery.
