Hudsonville Man Passes Suddenly

Calvin Lee (Kelly) Peasley 39, passed away suddenly Sunday evening at his home on Barnaby road in Hudsonville.

Surviving are his widow, Irene, and two sons, Barry and Gary, both at home. Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Bessie Peasley; two brothers, Grant and Earl all of Hudsonville; a sister, Mrs. Earl Mayher of Reed City; and Allen Peasley, a nephew.

Mr. Peasley was born in Hudsonville and attended public school there. he had been employed by MacEachron and Hall for 12 years as a trucker but at the time of his death was employed as shipping clerk for National Cylinder Gas Co. in Grand Rapids.

The funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon by Vander Laan Funeral home at Hudsonville Community church with Rev. John Douglas officiating. Burial was in Georgetown cemetery.
