Remus Rogers Remus Rogers was a veteran of the Civil War. He enlisted in, Co. B, 6th MI Cavalry, on October 11, 1862, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 18. He was wounded and died July 30, 1863, at Hagerstown, MD. He is buried in the Antietam National Battlefield site at Sharpsburg, MD, site 2391. His family listed his name on the family gravestone in Advent Cemetery in Wright Township, Ottawa County, MI, so that he would not be forgotten.
