THEODORE ROSEGRANT OBITUARY

Theodore Rosegrant was born in Chemung County, New York on 2 Jul 1833, and at
the age of 5 years moved with his parents to Seneca County, Ohio where he
resided until 16 years of age, when the family came to Michigan, locating in the
township of Wright.
He was married to Melinda D. Miller 2 February 1857 and in 1859 settled on the
farm where he resided at the time of his death. Four children were born to them,
three of whom died in infancy.
He enlisted in the war of the rebellion on 31 Oct 1861 and served his country
until 1 Oct 1864. On 18 Oct 1980 he was stricken by illness which resulted in
his death on 18 Dec 1908. He leaves one daughter, three sisters and one brother
to mourn his loss.
