Ludio Sickles

Ludio E. Sickles died February 17, 1903. Deceased was born in Onondaga County, New York, in 1842, and came to Michigan in 1866.He was married to Henrietta Millman in 1869. He became a resident of the town of Polkton in 1878 where he resided until his death. Naught could be said against Ludio. He was an indulgent father and kind neighbor.

He leaves, besides a widowed mother past 91 years of age who has lived with him nearly 35 years, an affectionate wife, one son, Charles, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Hammond Nixon, of Coopersville, and Miss Nettie, at home, and four brothers.

(Ludio was probably buried in Advent Cemetery next to his parents, Charles and Adeline Sickles and his brother, Agostino Sickles.)
