Smallegan - Crash Victim Lieutenant Smallegan, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smallegan of Forest Grove, was killed when his navy fighter plane crashed Sunday at Great South Bay, L. I> He was a graduate of Hudsonville High school and attended Hope college two years. Besides the parents, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. George Busscher of Muskegon, Mrs. Henry Berghuis of Kalamazoo and Mrs. Simon Busscher of Forest Grove. Lieut. Smallegan was engaged to wed Miss Lucille Voss of Montello Park. |
