Mrs. Nell Van Dyke Talsma, 84, Dies at Hudsonville Death Tuesday morning claimed Mrs. Nellie Talsma, 84, widow of the late Klaas Talsma, at the home of her son, Ray Van Dyke, 248 Maple St., Hudsonville. She had been a resident of that community for 30 years. She is survived, in addition to the son, by three step-sons, George Talsma of Hudsonville, Albert of wyoming Park, and Martin of Dutton; and by two step-daughtes, Mrs. Jacob Vande Bunte and Mrs. Albert Veltema, both of Hudsonville. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Dorothy VanderMeulen of Chicago, and a brother, Garem Woudman of the Netherlands. Included among the survivors are 35 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Talsma was a member of First Christian Reformed Church of Hudsonville. Her husband died in 1931. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Vander Laan Funeral Home in Hudsonville with burial in Pilgrim Home cemetery in Holland. Officiating clergymen willbe Rev. Emo Van Halsema, her pastor, and Rev. H. A. Colenbrander. |
