Cornelius Werkman, a former well known old resident of Grand Haven died on Tuesday of this week at the home of his son, Henry Werkman.of Fremont. The old gentlemen was 85 years of age and had been a resident of Grand Haven for a half century. About two years ago, being in feeble heath his son took him home. Deceased leaves one son and two daughters, H.C. Werkman, Mrs. Nettie Tompkins and Mrs. John Williams, Sr., all of Fremont. The funeral was held from the home of Henry Werkman in Fremont yesterday and burial was in that village.
