Hudsonville Christian First School Built in 1919
Hudsonville Christian Grade School
In 1917 a meeting was held to consider building a Christian
grade school. It was decided to
do so and by 1919 a school building was
constructed. By 1921 they had outgrown the
original school and an addition
was added. This picture was taken after 1921. This
is the same
building that was sold in 2005. It had served many years as a grade
school.
Due to the expansion of the Christian Schools in Hudsonville, the
building was used
in the later years strictly for first-graders. In 2005 it was purchased by
a private
group and their wish is to use it for nursery school and a community building.
It is now called the "White School".
