Olive Township Historical Society

The Memorial Day Community Walk from the Olive Center Cemetery to the Olive Township Museum 11768 Polk Street (formerly Olive Center School/Olive Township Hall) following the service. Transportation provided from the cemetery to the museum and back again. Walkers and bikers are invited to wear patriotic colors, carry flags and decorate in red, white, and blue. Ottawa Church Youth Group’s "50’s Diner" will be serving lunch on the Museum grounds starting at 11 am. In case of inclement weather, the walk will be cancelled and lunch will be served at the GRACE Center on Stanton Street.

Olive Township Museum will be open to the public free of charge on Memorial Day from 11am-4 pm and the following Saturday, June 7 from 11am – 4 pm. War Memorabilia and local history will be on display.
