CAPTION: Fifty years ago, a Philco Cool Chassis was the big item at Brewbaker's. "Your idea store in
Onaway," the ad stated. The screens were 19 inches and the units were slimmer. Not slim enough to
hang on walls like today's flat screen. Brewbaker's also was offering as much as 50% off. In
other Onaway News, Pvt. 1st Class James G. Stump, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren J. Stump, Onaway,
completed a gas turbine and generator repairman course at the Army Engineer School, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia,
March 1. During his eight weeks he was trained in the repair of gas turbine engines, generators,
power pack equipment and generator control and starting equipment.
