CAPTION: The Onaway football team put on their pads for the first time of the 1979
season and started the tougher part of their preparation.  The area behind the school
resounded with the thuds and whacks, five at a time.  "Get that head down," head
coach Chuck Abshagen shouted.  "Keep in line with the dummy! Don't let your opponent
know which way you are going."
