Mrs. Dora Wagner Passed On Monday Afternoon
Mrs. Herman Wagner, 62, passed away at Ford's Hospital Monday afternoon ( May 20, 1957) following an illness of several months.
Mrs. Wagner was born Dora Hopp, September 15, 1894 in Belknap township. She married in Hagensville July 7, 1914.
Mr. Wagner survives, in addition to three sons, Harold of Alpena, Kenneth of Flint and Donald of Rogers City; four daughters,
Mrs. Alfred Altman ( Fern) of Metz, Mrs. Carl Dipcinski ( Lucille) of Pontiac, Mrs. Robert Shelley ( Marie) of Lincoln, and
Mrs. Howard Elowsky ( Lois) of Bay City; two brothers, Edwin Hopp of Hagensville and Harry Hopp of Omer; three half brothers,
Carl Hopp of Rogers City, Harold Hopp of Kalamazoo, an Alfred Hopp of Pontiac; two sisters, Mrs.Fred Radka of Rogers City and
Mrs. Rudy Haselhuhn of Roseville; two half sisters, Mrs.Tillie Hopp of Rogers City and Mrs Mary Haselhuhn of Pontiac; and 14 grandchildren.
The body was taken from McWilliams Funeral Home Wednesday morning to St. John's Lutheran church in Hagensville to lie in
state there from 12:00 o'clock noon until services at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Homer Marsh conducted the funeral rites and burial followed in the
church cemetery.
