Otto E. McGrath
A lifelong resident of the Onaway area, Otto E. McGrath, 66, passed away June 28, 1974 at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn following
a lingering illness. Otto McGrath was born March 29, 1908 in Hope Township. He married the former Edith Dunn in 1929, and she
preceded him in death in 1957. Surviving are one daughter, Janice of Detroit, six sons, Otto I., Don, Kenneth, Leonard, and
Jerry, all of Taylor, and Robert T. of Joshua Tree, California; one brother, Robert of Madison Heights; 23 grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.
Elder James Morgan officiated on July 1st, at the 2 p.m. funeral service held at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Onaway. Otto E.
McGrath was laid to rest in Forrest Lawn Cemetary, Tower.
