 				HEART ATTACK FATAL TO RUSSELL LEACH

 

Russell Leach died suddenly early Wednesday morning of a heart attack.  Mr. & Mrs.
Leach are comparatively new residents in the community.  They came here four years
ago and were living in a home near the Rainy River, in North Allis Township.  He was
an electrician

            He was born in St. Clair, Mich on April 6, 1896.  He married Evelyn Klein in
Cheboygan on August 4, 1944 and moved here soon after.

            Surviving are his wife and one son by a former marriage, Russell Leach Jr., three
brothers and three sisters also survive; Alfred Leach of Cleveland, Ohio, George of
Detroit, William of Florida; Mrs. Maud Ritter of Detroit, Mrs. Eva McMichael of
Rochester and Mrs. Lilly McDonald. Two step daughters are living in Detroit, Mrs.
Audrey Thompson and Miss June Klein. 

            Funeral service will be held from the Karr Funeral Home on Friday afternoon at 2
pm. with Rev. Harry J. Smith officiating.  Burial in North Allis Cemetery.

            Pallbearers will be: Charles Kessselring, Ted Hawks, Ned Wheeler, Roy Badgero,
Joseph Whitsett, Ray Young.
