William Ormsbee, 77 of Onaway died Tuesday (Dec. 28) at Northland Michigan
Hospital, Petoskey.

Mr. Ormsbee was born October 14, 1916, in Afton, Mich., and married Hazel
McClary here on March 20, 1938.

A lifelong resident of the area, he was a real estate broker with Ormsbee Real
Estate, a member of the Kiwanis Club, and a priest for the RLDS Church.                       

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Sally Benham of Birch Run, Bonnie
Peacock of Sibley, MO, and Nancy Carpenter of Dixfield, Maine; a son Bill of Sibley: 11
 grandchildren; seven  great-grandchildren: five brothers and two sister.  Mr. Ormsbee
was preceded in death by a granddaughter in 1957; six sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at the Chagnon Funeral Home in Onaway from 6 to 9 tonight.
 Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday.

Burial: Elmwood Cemetery, Onaway
