In other Onaway news, a record turnout of voters elected William Breed, a relative newcomer to the area, to a four-year term on the Onaway Area School board of education...the Onaway Boy Scouts of Troop 68 enjoyed a campout at Camp Rotary near Clare, where they displayed their projects and cooking skills...Jacob Deegan, an aide from U.S. Sen. Donald Riegle's office was to tour Onaway Courthouse Building as a guest of the courthouse restoration committee.
