Gilden Family Contributed by Candace Petersson

 				Gilden, William and Carolina Shultz arrived in Presque Isle County in 1867 from Grand
 Island, NY.  Their son John was born on a farm near Rogers City 29 Mar 1870 (this
information from his files).  This information comes from William's obituary in the 17
Mar 1898 Presque Isle County Advance and the family is also listed in the 1870 Census.
