HACKETT LAKE SCHOOLWHALEY SCHOOL Whaley School was moved from the Bill Price Farm on Hackett Lake Rd. & Minier
(T.34N. � R.2E. Sec. 33) to Little Rainey and Hackett Lake Rd.( T.34N. � R.2E Sec. 35 )
in 1927. It then became the Hackett Lake School. Charlie Badgero moved this school
with a team of horses and a windlass. Bob Hilliker remembers riding in the school when
it was being moved down the road. This school operated between 1927 and 1963 and is
still standing.
