HAMMOND BAY SCHOOLVALENTINE SCHOOL Hammond Bay School was also called Valentine School (T.36N.-R.3E Sec. 14.) and at one time was part of Bearinger Twp. Later it became part of Ocqueoc Twp. (SE1/4, NE1/4, Sec.23) This school was built sometime before 1903. The school served the children of the men who worked at the Life Saving Station and still stands. One teacher was hired to teach in all four schools in Bearinger Twp. � 3 months in each school.
