CAPTION: Reigning over the 1955 Michigan Lilac Festival on Mackinac Island was
Linda Quinn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Quinn of Rogers City.  Linda was the 
entry by the Rogers City Chamber of Commerce, and was selected as queen from a
field of eight girls representing northern Michigan communities at the Grand Hotel.
She was crowned by Michigan Governor G. Mennen Williams' wife, Nancy.
