CAPTION: Maple Boulevard, Onaway, Mich.
This week's picture comes to us from Karan and Carolyn Pregitzer. You are looking south on the County Line
in Presque Isle and Cheboygan counties. The wooden rails to keep the horse and buggy from going off the road is
crossing the Stoney Creek. Today on the left is the Howard Morgan Homestead and on the right is where the Floyd
Booths hang their hats. There seems to be some controversies about the time from of when this part of County Line
was called Maple Boulevard. We know it was in the early 1900s. A ride down this part of the County Line today is
still a rough road. The many residents living on this end of the County Line are in great need of some new blacktop.
