 				 MERCHANT SCHOOL (T.36N. - R.2E.) Bearinger Twp. Sec. 29 was a log cabin on the north side of Enchanted
Pine Hwy between CR 489 and Bluffs Rd.  One teacher was hired to teach in all four
schools in Bearinger Twp. � 3 months in each school.  Nute�s notes indicate it was
between Bluff�s Rd. & Roost Rd.  It later burned.  STUDENTSChapman ChildrenMable HansenLaura HansenEdith RobertsMable Wright Mable Wright was 6 years old when she went to this school.  It closed after 3 weeks of
school because there were only three students in school.  The kids then went to school
