CAPTION: This was the list of events for the 1965 Posen Potato Festival. A potato
pancake breakfast was only $1.50 Alpena's leading citizen, Jesse Besser in attendance.
There was a bicycle race of more than 4 miles and the "big parade" was Sunday with the
crowing of the potato king.
