  As we watch many small hospitals close or merge with bigger medical units to survive, we
have to think back when our own Russell Memorial Hospital served the Onaway area.  This week's picture from, 
my Dad's collection, shows the ribbon-cutting ceremony when the new addition was added to the hospital.
Left to right we see Dr. Finch, unknown, Carl Shaloy, Wally Strauch, Henry Crooks, Guy Purdy, E.L. Porter,
George Schaedig, Pete Russell, administrator Esther Scecrist, Frank Covell and Fred Stutesman.  The patient
is Mrs. Oscar Roberts.
