Caption #1: State Street, Onaway




  This week's picture is looking east from the intersection of Elm Street and State Street.

  On the right side are Johnson's Meat Market and Grocery, the bakery, and the State Theater.

  On the left side are the drug store, Merritt's Restaurant, Henry's, the pool hall and the 
barbershop.

  Looking past the shade tree you can see the gas pump in front of Bonner's service station.

  Some of the cars are early 1930s and pavement had been added to State Street.
