Caption #1: The mystery of this photo there are no people, no horses and no cars.
This week's picture is looking east on State Street from the intersection of State and First streets.
On the right we can see Harman's Store, the Steel Co. and the 5 and 10-cent store. Beyond them are several
residential homes.
On the left side we can see the Onaway Outlook and Printing Office and the Presque Isle Hotel, that was
owned by John Gray at the time of this picture. It has survived many faces and is now the Lock Stock
and Barrel Store.
Again we see hitching posts on both sides of the street. If you look near the top in the center you can
see a streetlight hanging from the line.
