CAPTION: This picture shows the bottom of the slide just before going out onto the lake and part way across
to the island.
CAPTION: There are at least eight people about to be launched from the top of the slide.
CAPTION: My mom, Jean (Fitzpatrick) Chapman, is the young lady third from the right. Take note of the eight-place
toboggan standing up in the back left of the picture.
This week's winter pictures were taken at Ocqueoc Lake.
They are of the toboggan run at Silver Rock Gardens. A lot of people from Millersburg, Ocqueoc, Rogers City and
Onaway used this toboggan slide.
Of course they could get refreshments next door. Some of the Civilian Conservation Corps guys from Camp Black
Lake also enjoyed the activities at the toboggan slide.
These pictures were taken from my mom's photo book.
