His serial number was 36175331 and he enlisted in 1942. He would have been born in 1918. He was part of a crew which made an emergency landing at a race course in neutral Ireland during February 1944. |

| Burke | Murray Burke | Looking for information on Wilbert Burke and his wife Catherine Burke nee Hazzard. They resided at Houghton lake for 30 to 40 years and had two children names unknown. Apparently Catherine was bedridden by 1930.Wilbert did general labor jobs in the area. He had a brother Elbridge Burke who lived there also in 1910 married to an Ida Anne Burke they apparently had no surviving children. It is probable Elbridge passed away or moved from the area by the 1920 census. If anyone has any knowledge of these people or possible descendants I would be most appreciative hearing from you. I have notarized documents (land-deed transfers) which were recorded in Ohio upon the death of his father and then the following year to correct the description in the 1904 deed. In June, 1904, John B and Sophia were not married as John was listed as a single man. Ada Marion (1882) and Louie Mabel CADY (1890) were born in Higgins Twp., Roscommon Co., Michigan.
