I'm hoping that someone may recognize this postcard photo as someone in their family and contact me. It was mailed around 1902 and before 1908 as that is when my Grandfather was in the area of Chinook MT. Her name is Mary Hardy we believe and the card was mailed from Deckerville MI addressed to John Hardy she was his niece. Submitted by Janice Casper |
On the left is Theresa Cline Harrington (b.1865 d.1945) at her home at Galbraith Line and Vincent roads in Amadore. With her are: her nephew Fred Wright & wife Maggie. Maggie's maiden name was Wright also. Next to Maggie is Fred's brother Isacc Wright. The boy standing is Allen Wright, son of Fred and Maggie. The Wrights were sons of Henry Wright and Sarah Jane Cline (Theresa's sister). My grandmother Sybil Ellen Wright was a daughter of Henry and Sarah Jane. Submitted by Bill Steele |
William Henry (1827-1874) in Carsonville, early 1870's. He came to Sanilac from New York in the late 1860's. He's buried in Lee Cemetery which is on the old Henry farm south of Carsonville. Submitted by Bruce Henry |

Lucinda (Lucy) Meddaugh Huckins, sister of Louis Elmer Meddaugh, and daughter of John Washington Meddaugh of Croswell. This picture was taken in Flint, Michigan, where it seems that some of the Sanilac Meddaughs moved.
