Mary Eleanor Parker, who was born in Carsonville.  Her mother was Suzannah Mary Thornton, whose family had emigrated from England.  Her father was John A. Parker, whose background I do not know yet.  Suzannah is buried in the Rebekah Home for the Aged in Jackson, Michigan.  John Parker is buried in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Oscoda, Michigan.  Mary moved to Oscoda at a young age, and there married Louis Elmer Meddaugh, who had been born in Croswell, Michigan, to John Washington Meddaugh

Henry Rich, who married Nancy Meddaugh, daughter of John Washington Meddaugh.  I have seen information that she married a John E. Sly, after her sister Rosella had died in 1899.  Rosella had married John E. Sly, and I see information that proves that.  I have no information about either marriage for Nancy, except the pictures in my grandfather's photo album.  In that album, Henry Rich is indicated to be Nancy's husband.  Nancy is buried in the Croswell Cemetery.

This is a picture of one of Louis Elmer Meddaugh's sisters, Nancy Meddaugh Rich.  She was married to Henry Rich in the Croswell area.  She is buried in Croswell Cemetery.  She was purported to have married John E. Sly, after her sister Rosella (John Sly's first wife) died in 1899.  I find no evidence of that marriage, but will continue to search for information on it.  She and Louis were the children of John Washington Meddaugh and Mary Thibaudeau Meddaugh, who lived on 160 acres in the Croswell area.
