Mrs. Charles Conklin  Richmond- 

Laura E. Conklin, 92, formerly of 7950 Rattle Run Road, Columbus Township, died Tuesday in Marwood Manor, Port Huron, after a long illness.  She was born March 31, 1885, in Columbus Township, where she was a lifelong resident.

She married Charles Conklin April 25, 1900, in Port Huron.  He died June 4, 1943.  Mrs. Conklin was a member of the Columbus Township Baptist Church.  She is survived by two sons, Gordon and Melvin Conklin, both of Columbus Township; a daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Evelyn) Yeip; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
