Wm. Nelson died at his home, 2070 Military Street, on Saturday night, aged 56 years.  He had been ill but a short time.

Mr. Nelson was born in Norway in 1841 and emigrated to Canada when 17 years of age. He came to Port Huron to reside in 1880.  He leaves a wife and ten children, five married and five single. Deceased was a charter member of Court Anchor, Independent Order of Foresters.

The funeral will take place at St. Joseph's church at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, under the auspices of the Foresters.

 

Note: William and Louisa Nelson and family moved from Cornwall, Stormont, Ontario to Port Huron, Michian in 1880.
