Michael-b. 1858, Canada, 2.Mary-b.1860, Greenwood Township, 3. Eugene- b.1862, GT, 4. Julia-b.1864, GT, William-b. 1869, GT, and Ida, b. unknown. Patrick Fox assigned 40 acres of land in Greenwood Township in 1864, renewed in 1884. Julia FOX married James Patrick GALLAGHER, b. 1858-Ireland, unknown location. Another James Gallagher lived in St. Clair County, Berlin Township, 1854, owner of 120 acres of land, possible relative? Looking for any and all info on these people.

I am looking for a death record or cemetery location for James McINERNEY, middle name possibly Michael. He moved to Port Huron sometime between 1842 and 1847. He was listed in the 1850 Census in Port Huron as a grocery keeper living with a son Thomas and a baker named Robert JEX and family. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for info on James Hugh WHITE, bn 1900 in St Clair Co. Port Huron, MI.and wives. Married Gladys BROWN 1927, Port Huron, MI, (her mother Jennie BESWARICK, father Edward BROWN) had 2 children. Second marriage Thelma V. WALTERS 1933, divorced 1935, had 2 children. Third marriage Mary Ann MCFARLAND 1935, (her father Burtin MCFARLAND, mother Ida BARNARD) had 14 children. Lived in Port Huron, MI. Have copy of marriage licenses, need any info on any relatives also.

Rhue and Anna had 2 daughters: Kathleen (married Donald E. DUFFIN (his father Joseph DUFFIN and mother Bertha BAGGS) Lived in Clyde Township. Second daughter Josephine married Earl HORN.

Looking for the ancestors of George Peter SCHUNK born 31 July 1884 in China, St. Clair County, MI. He was the son of Frederick C. SCHUNK and Mary FREDRICK (Marie FRIEDRICH). George married (1) Edna May BRYCE,(18 Nov1880 Lynn,MI-21 Jan 1924 Almont, MI), the daughter of James N. BRYCE and Mary J."Polly" BROUGH. Edna was the widow of Fred MILES of Almont, MI. He married (2) Ruby HARVEY (02 Dec 1896 Capac, MI-22 Jan 1988 Gustin, MI), parents unknown. He married (3) Ida Dell HILTON (30 Nov 1896 Rochester, MI-05 Feb 1988 St. Joseph, MI), the daughter of Ira Bert HILTON and Cora Mae RUSSELL. George had three children by his first wife: Alva James, Mary Pauline, and Ruth Maxine. Would love to share information with other descendants of these individuals.

Mathew FRIESENHAN and wife, Gertrude Landsrath FRIESENHAN, came to Port Huron from Wiesbaden, Germany between 1883 and 1888 with children Joseph, Catherine, Marie and Teresa. Pauline, Frederick and Clarissa (also known as Mary Clare - my grandmother) were born in Port Huron. Mathew and Gertrude died young, between 1908 and 1911, also in Port Huron. Any information appreciated, especially about the oldest four children.

Looking for information on Simon and Beulah BAKER of Marine City, MI. Simon was born Oct. 5, 1833 in New York. Moved to Mich. and married Beulah BLANCHARD date unknown. Beulah was born May 26, 1838 do not know if she was born in St. Clair Co. They had nine children. Daughter Cora was my grandmother. She died Nov. 6, 1904 when my father was 6 months old. Any information re this family will be appreciated.

Looking for HUTCHINSON'S in St Clair Co., Who knew Bertha Hutchinson wife of Roy HUTCHINSON died Auhust 1, 1920, killed in car/train accident in Wolverine, Cheboygan Co., MI. When Bertha died in 1960's several of the HUTCHINSON'S, came to see her family I am her granddaughter and trying to locate my grandfathers family.

Looking for information on the SHARROW family of Port Huron/ Detroit area. Zoah GEMOW (maybe GENAW?). Zoah married Charles LUZON. their daughter, Louise born July 1, 1851 and died January 14, 1941 in Port Huron, Michigan. Louise married - I think to William SHARROW, as she is stated on her death record as "Widow William". The two had a son John SHARROW, who married three times, 1st to Ruth Emilia MUDGE, 2nd unknown, and third to a Lucille "Lucy", who he widowed. Ruth and John had one child, Charles Wesley SHARROW, who after the divorce of Ruth and John, was raised as the son of Gaylord SHAGENA, who Ruth married 2nd, and was also divorced from. Gaylord was married 1st to Coraia F. Fitch who died young, and left one child, a daughter, Olga Coraia SHAGENA who married a TAYLOR. Gaylord Shagena then married the said Ruth Mudge and had Milo SHAGENA, Ernest SHAGENA, Frances SHAGENA (female), Elaine I. SHAGENA, Howard SHAGENA, Gaylord SHAGENA, Clair John "Bill" SHAGENA. Gaylord married 2nd to the WIdow Nina (DARLING)SHAGENA, who had married 1st Gaylord's brother, John "Jack" SHAGENA. Nina, from her previous marriage, had Milo SHAGENA, James SHAGENA, Paul SHAGENA, Leo SHAGENA, Virginia SHAGENA, Madeline SHAGENA, Sarah Pearl SHAGENA.

Seeking information on a BUTLER family that may have been living in Emmet or Riley Centre in the 1800's. Catherine BUTLER born in Detroit in 1844 was the daughter of William BUTLER and Mary DUNN. I believe Mary DUNN died died at Riley Mi. Williams Father was Edward Butler from Dune, Ireland who died accidentally at Emmet. Catherine married Edward GALLAGHER who was born in Adelaide, Ontario in 1844. Catherine had 5 Brothers Edward,William,Thomas,John, and George Butler and 4 sisters. Elizabeth, Ella, Anastasia, and Mary Butler. I'm sorry if this information is lacking but its all I have from a family bible. Any connections or leads would be greatly appreciated!

LOCKWOOD - FRENCH Seeking information about Kate (Mary Catherine??) LOCKWOOD FRENCH NEVINS, aka Kitty Lockwood FRENCH, Kate M. LOCKWOOD and Kate Lockwood NEVINS. Born Sandusky, OH, May 25, 1854, daughter of James K___ LOCKWOOD, Alpena Co pioneer lumberman and ??. They may have lived in Port Huron, then family moved to Alpena in 1862 (James in 1860), May have lived in Detroit. Kate claimed to have attended the University of Michigan. Is this true? (they claim she is not a graduate) She was married to Albert FRENCH, architect, in Ann Arbor ca 1875. By 1886 Kate was known as LOCKWOOD again. What happened to Albert? Kate lived in NYC then moved to California by 1890. By 1893 she was known as an architect! wife of Louis L. NEVINS. Did she ever have children? (not in Calif) Kate had older sister Clara who m Henry SEAGE, who became a business partner of her father. When father James K. LOCKWOOD died in 1882 while on business in Sandusky, OH, he left a widow Eliza. Is this a second wife? If so, who was first wife and when did she die? Have information on Kate's California life - interesting!
