COLLING,
JOSEPH, JR.
Born March 8, 1845, in Halton, Ontario.
He came to Michigan and located in Watertown Township in 1872.
He married Ellen Foster on January 1, 1872, and they had four children,
Arthur D., born July 15, 1875; Laura M., born October 26, 1881; Earl J., born
September 12, 1891; Ermah A., born
July 24, 1897. Mr. Colling was
engaged in general farming, and was one of Watertown’s most enterprising and
respected citizens. He died
December 9, 1897. Mr. Joseph
Colling, Sr., was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Colling, of England, and was
born in Scotland. GLASS,
FRANK
Born April 5, 1869, in Oakland County, Michigan.
He married Ada Oakman, who was born March 28, 1876, on December 2, 1896.
They have three children, Clarence R., born March 3, 1897; Eva A., born
July 20, 1898, and Elizabeth, born July 21, 1901. PACKARD,
JOHN B.
Son of James Packard, of England. They
came to America and located in Lyons, N.Y., at an early day, and later in the
early forties, moved to Michigan and was employed by the Michigan Central R. R.
for eleven years, and later by the Crapo Estate, in the city of Flint.
He was born in Wayne, Michigan, August 27, 1857, and was married to Miss
Minnie Force, May 28, 1899, and have two children.
Jennie M. was born April 26, 1878, and Hazel was born April 26, 1873.
Mr. Packard was passenger conductor for twenty years, until 1899, when he
resigned his position and located on his farm.
