MEMORIAL REPORT

     Your card of invitation to be present at the meeting in Lansing, on the 7th inst., is received.  Replying to same must say, as I expect to be absent from the State at that time, on business, I must forego the pleasure of meeting with you.

     The secretary of the County Pioneer Society has furnished me with the following memorial list of deaths of pioneers in this county for 1881, including 1882 to June 1st:

     Hervey Harrington, Vassar

     B. F. Holland and wife, Vassar, both buried some day

     Edwin Ellis, Tuscola, the first settler in the county.

     Ebenezer Davis, Tuscola, the second settler in the county

     Electus B. Harrison, Tuscola.

     David P. Hinson, Fair Grove; said to be one of the oldest Masons of the State.

     Mrs. James Luce, Fair Grove.

     Jonas Belknap and wife, Juniata.

     John Chamberlain, Juniata

     Mrs. Olive Rowland, Juniata.

     Frederick Schultz, Denmark

     Wm. Wilcox, Denmark.

     King Allen, and Sarah, his wife, Unionville.

     David Clark, Unionville
