| Some time between 1842 and 1846 Ransom D. Schuyler and his wife Catherine E. Dow Schuyler came to Breedsville, Columbia Twp. Van Buren Co. MI. They were accompanied by their children, William, Amanda, Susan, and Mary. William was born 1837 in NY. Amanda born 1839, Susan born 1841, and Mary born 1842 in Ohio. Their son Oliver was born in MI in 1846. And daughter Susan died in 1848 in Van Buren Co MI. Ransom and family are shown in the 1850 census for Columbia Twp. Van Buren Co. MI. I have additional information on this family. |
