Union (Union District) Cemetery Saline Township, Saline, Washtenaw County, MI

Union Cemetery is situated on the north-east corner of Grass and Austin Road in Saline MI. It is owned and maintained by the Township of Saline. This cemetery was formerly called Union District, the land was deeded as a burial ground on Feb 17, 1835. Many of the stones are in bad condition and broken off and piled under the trees around the edge of the plot.

The following names and dates are from a new reading done in Aug 2002 by Barbara (Feldkamp) Burns along with the help of using a reading that was done in 1982 by the Genealogical Society of Washtenaw Co., Michigan Inc. of the ones that I could not read or that were piled up on top of each other and with a short reading done by Paulette Quartermain in Nov 2000 under the name of Union District. Barbara also took the photo of the cemetery in Aug of 2002.
