Ecorse
The first European settler to Ecorse was Pierre Michael Campau in 1795. The first English settlers arrived in 1818 and the township of Ecorse was established in 1827. Originally called Grand Port, it was incorporated as the Village of Ecorse in 1903. It became a city in 1942. |
