Surname: Wallin, Thompson. Looking for information on the Wallin Family. Following is what I've found so far: Fred Wallin born in the state of New York married Lena Thompson born in Canada. Lena was the daughter or Samuel Thompson and Jean. Fred and Lena had the following children:
Harold S. Wallin born March 18, 1912 in Michigan. Died June 22, 1982 in Michigan. Lived in Carp Lake, Michigan. Married Gina Marie Van Volkinburg (unsure of spelling of Gina's last name).
--- Gina and Harold had three children: Harold, James and Frederick. Harold married Roberta Robinson in 1950 and had three children: Hal, Sherri and Robin all still living. Harold and Roberta were divorced. Harold married two other times, but I do not have specifics. Harold died in June 1976. No other information on James or Frederick.
Ernest F. Wallin born June 17, 1914 in Michigan. Died February 13, 1989.
Robert E. Wallin born July 28, 1916 in Michigan. Died December 22, 1975. Robert had at least one son whose names is also Robert Wallin. I believe that Robert is currently or was recently the Mayor of Mackinaw City.

SANDISON, James, Edward and John S, sons of John; came to MI about 1880. Settled first in Cheboygan Co. (Benton and Waverly twps known). Brother William went to TX-CA; Sisters were Jane, Elizabeth & Mariah. Mariah married PAINTER and settled in NY. I'm told their mother Elizabeth SUTHERLAND SANDISON came with them and died in Cheboygan Co., but cannot find a record. Perhaps she remarried? Elizabeth born ca 1820 "Upper Canada" to Jane SMITH and ? Sutherland. Jane's father was Edward SMITH and her mother was native (Cree). Jane married second to Murdoch McPHERSON. My line descends from John - James - John V. - Reginald (living).
SMITH, William Book, married 1872 to Sabra Jane THOMAS in Essex Co., ONT, CAN; settled in Waverly Tp., Cheboygan Co., MI. Their daughter Mary Catherine born 1876 is my grandmother. Searching for info on: John Pupor, husband of Mary(?) or Louisa(?) Lalotte or Lozon. They had 5 children; Alex, Charles, Olive, Elizabeth, and Josephine (my grandmother); know what became of the three girls; cannot find anything on the father, mother or two sons. Ollie and Lizzie married in Cheboygan; Josephine in Petoskey. Also: Lillian Gladys Moody b 8-28-03 Quebec Canada; married my grandfather 5-12-1919 had Louise (my mom). I'm looking for any information about the "MORGAN" family of the Tower area of Cheboygan County, MI. My Grandmother and several siblings were born and raised in Tower. Siblings included Floyd Arthur, Helen Leona, Josephine, Joseph, Roy, Annie Amy, and William Henry MORGAN. Their parents were: William Joseph Morgan (b.1882) and Gertrude Beehler (b.1889). I'm looking for a Uncle who was living in Cheboygan in 1952. His name was Albert BYRNE. He was born in 1912 in Stoddard Co. Mo. Albert Byrne was married to a Loretta Wade. Albert Byrne had a daughter Margaret Byrne who was killed some time in July of 1952. Her body was found Aug 7, 1952 at the Old City Gravel Pit in Cheboygan. Albert Byrne was held and went to trial for the murder of his daughter, Margarert Ellen. In Dec of 1952 he was found not guilty. Did he stay in Cheboygan? I am trying to trace my family ancestry. My Grandfather, Harold Canfield was married to Iva Bea Richardson. His mother was Ethel Babcock and his father was Wilmont Canfield, (born in Ireland). My Grandfather, Harold L. Canfield, was born on August 20th of 1904 and died September 6th of 1987 and was buried in the Cedarville Cemetery. My Grandmother, Iva B. Canfield, was born in 1906 and died in 1983. My Mother Barbara Louise Canfield, was born on Boise Blanc Island on April 3rd of 1930. Grandma had three other girls, Beatrice Nelson, Wanda Brown, and Mildred Koebel. My Grandparents lived right on the Pine River on M134. Grandpa owned a 40 acre parcel right there off the Great Huron Lake in St. Martin's Bay. Any information would be most appreciated. Thank you so very much. DAY, ARTHUR (12/25/1865-3/7/1906): We are looking for information regarding the Day family in Tower (Forest Township), MI. Arthur's wife was DAY, ISABELLE (SMITH) (9/5/1866-4/27/1931). We know they had a daughter DAY, EMMA MAE who died very young from TB. We have no information on her or her daughter DAY, EVA MAE (4/27/1898-9/27/1947). In researching the family we also found the name SABIN, ELMER on the birth certificate of DAY, AWANDA (EVA) IONE (7/2/1918-10/22/1987). Any information regarding the above names is most appreciated.
