LAPEER COUNTY.

STATE OF MICHIGAN, COUNTY OF LAPEER.—In the circuit court for the county of Lapeer of the term of July, A. D. 1839.

In the matter of the petition of Mary Ann Walker for a divorce from her husband Elihu S. Walker for willful absence and neglect and for adultery.

On filing and hearing of the petition, it is ordered by the court, that the petitioner give notice of the pendency of her petition by publishing the substance thereof in the Free Press, a newspaper printed in Detroit, in the State of Michigan, for twelve weeks successively, the last publication at least six weeks before the first day of the next regular term of this court, and that one copy containing said notice be mailed to the respondent, directed to the city of New York, the place where respondent was last known to reside.
